This was going to be a journal for Loo and Hana Fray, the twin daughters of Melaka Fray (grabber_fray) and Zuko, formerly prince of the Fire Nation (princeinexile) and the first babies to be born in a world the occupants, all immigrants, called Apocalyptica. But then the rabbithole ate them and more characters elbowed their way in.

Rabbithole One

When they were six months old, the twins, their parents and their uncle Sokka were transplanted to a world named Eden, where they grew up, raised by a once-crippled father and warrior uncle after their mother was killed protecting the community when they were seven. By this point their brother Iroh was three.

All three are Firebenders, pale with black hair and an asiatic appearance.

Louise (Loo)
The elder of the two, Loo never grew taller than 5'. Thin and wirey, her grey-gold eyes are offset by a large, expressive mouth. It's said she looks like her mother.

Loo's a hard worker and a dedicated Firebender, practicing everyday until she masters a move. She is a natural with bladed weapons and sword combat, and strives for attention. In her relationships with other people, she is sympathetic but often irrational, subject to a quick temper.

Hana
Younger by only half an hour, Hana is still a few inches shy of 5', but she has curves that her sister will never match. With eyes of a bright yellow, Hana looks more like a typical beautiful Fire Nation princess.

Hana is more of a loner than her sister, flaring up then sulking when she doesn't get her way; having more of a natural talent with combat and being quite considerably strong and fast, she's complacent with her training and often wanders off while Loo is still working, assuming natural talent will always get her through.

The movements implicit in Firebending come naturally to her; she learns this and any martial art with uncanny speed as if she'd always known it. Since the death of her mother, Hana's bending almost completely dried up, and she started suffering dreams about fighting monsters on a world she's never seen.

Iroh
Iroh is booksmart, but socially awkward. Taller than both his sisters, he's often staring in to space thinking hard about something he'd have difficulty explaining. He's quick to grasp concepts and ideas, but has a very simplistic view of interpersonal relations.
He's a technical genius and a Firebending prodigy, helped by his ability to understand the theory behind it inside out.

Ai-Ling
The bastard daughter of Louise and a terrorist from the Earth Kingdom, Ai-Ling is also small, but still taller than her mother, with pale brown eyes and a wide mouth which betrays an idle and jokey attitude to nearly everything except fighting. She was brought up in the Earth Palace in Ba Sing Se, and deliberately shirks any rules she can find.
Later, when she marries Miki of the Water Tribe (rabbitholebaby), she takes to wearing leather of all sorts of bright colours, just to buck tradition.

Rabbithole Two
The twins grew up on Earth, albeit a danger filled post-apocalyptic Earth. Their mother never re-married after losing their father, but she still gave them a younger brother in the form of John, completely Caucasian and lacking in any meta ability, aside from being a foot taller than his sisters.

Louise is the operational leader of a community the size of a small town, situated in the middle of the Kansas safezone. She's compassionate and sensible, and values a workable society over action.

Hana is an operative under the guidance of Oracle. She's no stronger or faster than any other firebender, but she has been extensively trained in any number of disciplines, from guns to Judo to piloting small aircraft. Her nose has been broken several times and she bears three significant scars across her face.

She carries a number of weapons, and is confident with most of them. The gun always in her belt is loaded with salt.
